Introducing The B Side

In January 1967, the Rolling Stones released a single with two songs on it. The A-side was “Let’s Spend the Night Together”: bold, brash, the one built to be the hit.

The B Side had a quieter song called “Ruby Tuesday.”

Radio stations banned “Let’s Spend the Night Together,” so they played The B Side instead.

“Ruby Tuesday” went to number one.

Nobody remembers it as The B Side of anything. It just is a hit.

That’s the idea behind The B Side: my pick for a Benco Brand product that’s getting lots of play in dental offices.

Sometimes, The B Side turns out to be the real hit.

What’s a song you love that never got the recognition it deserved?
